Feeling Like You're Failing

Some days I can feel like I'm on top of the world and crushing everything I put my hand to. I'm succeeding as a great husband, friend, and employee. Other day's though, I just feel like I'm missing the mark. I'm failing as a husband, a friend, and an employee. Whenever I feel like that, it's hard to get out of that slump for the day. A friend brought something to my attention a couple weeks ago that I thought was too good not to share! In Zephaniah 3:17 it says,

"The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing."

First off, "the Mighty Warrior who saves" is with me. Whether I feel like I'm knocking it out of the park that day or not, He is with me! Secondly, He takes "great delight" in me and is "singing" over me. I had to take a second and think about that. . . the Creator of the Universe is SINGING over me! That is just such a crazy concept to me. . .

So yeah, I'm going to have some days that are better than others. I'm imperfect. It can be easy to let the enemy keep me down in that slump, but it's up to me to recognize those days and remember that I have "the Mighty Warrior who saves" singing over me.

No matter how you may feel or what you have done, the Creator of the Universe is singing over you today! Get back up and keep showing the love of Christ to those around you.
