What do you see?
What do you see around you? What do you see within yourself?
Do you see failure? Do you see someone who doesn't quite measure up? Do you see an impossible situation? Do you see sickness and disease? Do you see an insurmountable amount of debt?
We let what we see within us and what we see in the situations that surround us weigh us down. These things consume our thoughts and bring us down. We let what the doctor says outweigh what God's Word says. We let the way that we responded to a situation yesterday determine the way we respond to the challenges of today. We let what we see outweigh the promises of our God.
Today, take time to find what God's Word says about what you see (i.e. debt, heartache, inadequacy, sickness, etc.). Look it up in the back of your Bible, Google it, or even email me, and I'd be happy to help!
Don't let what you see carry more weight then God's promises. Even if you don't see it, even if you don't feel it, speak the promises of God. Make a change to fix your eyes on the things of above!

"Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things." Colossians 3:1-2
